Bean blossoms

The raspberries are a bit taller and I actually had to stake them up.

Here is a zucchini bloom.
A giant carrot? Actually it's only an inch long. Carrots seem to take forever.
chard! The chard is really doing well. We had it in soup. It tastes really good.

Thistle

I took these pictures in the rain. I've been waiting for someone to ask if I got a new camera. :) Yup, Olympus Stylus 770SW, it's waterproof too. Theoretically you can go swimming with it but I haven't been brave enough to try it yet.

The thistle are blooming and they are awesome! Very cool looking blooms.

Got some stuff growing in the garden, these are either zuchini, squash, pumpkins, or cucumbers. I lost track of what is what.

You can see the lavendar in the foreground. It's starting to go brown. I don't know if I didn't water it enough or if it's just the end of lavendar season. :)

I've been getting a handful of peas to eat every few days!

This is the view from the deck.

Happy 4th of July!

We bought some new bark and spread it around the flower beds.

Knee high by the fourth of July? Not quite, maybe 12" high. Hopefully we will still get some corn.

I'm trying to figure out what kind of bug this is. It was on our neighbors door and it is about 2" long.

These are some blooms on the endive; purple and white flowers.

And we have peas! you can see the little peas inside their pods!
